A Product Innovation Story

El Dorado Hills, CA
Inland Boat Storage - Most drystack storage plans call for waterfront development and high end customer service. Demand and land prices are changing those plans. Think lower land costs, less parking requirements and less service. Inland or Remote Storage allows you to store boats, yes, but also store boats with trailers and RVs. Storage facilities can combine boat and trailer storage with RV storage by building the boat racks with enough ground clearance to allow RV’s to be stored underneath. Racks can be built to facilitate up to 4 boats above each RV. This technique combines the convenience and efficiency of rack storage with the cost savings of non-waterfront property

TIGOR provided research, planning supervision and project management for the first inland storage rack systems.

TIOGR organized design teams and manufacturers to produce a new storage 'product'.

Other drystack projects include: Marina One (200 berth drystack building), Deerfield Beach, FL (2000) American Offshore (200 boat drystack building), Dania Beach, FL (2000) Port Sanibel Drystack (140 boat drystack building), Pt.
