A need was evident after the Katrina Hurricane in 2005 for at risk patients to have access to their medications. Nurses and hospital staff in Florida came to TIGOR to help facilitate the concept
TIGOR developed a design and production team for My Med Bag and initiated the web page outline.
The bag is specifically designed for at risk patients who need supplies during travel or disasters, and has web based contact information if lost.
The web page serves as a purchase point and a lost and found locator for lost bags. Medical information conforms to HIPPA regulations. An added feature of the web page is a comparison of avialable software for patient medical records.
Compartments are available for temperature sensitive medications and special need products. A unique locator label acts as a web based ID to aid the patient, medical facility and doctors in coordinating services. Designed and endorsed by special care nurses and emergency medical staff. The bag is used by patients with time sensitive perscription needs.
